Terms and Condition of Techno King
Dear customers, Techno King always gives utmost importance to its customers. However, in order to improve the quality of customer service, timely and fast, some rules and regulations have to be followed. We request our valued customers to follow the below mentioned rules carefully before purchasing computer products from Techno King. Thank you.
The warranties of all the products that are announced at the time of sale are basically warranties provided by the manufacturer. That is, the warranty service of the products sold is basically carried by the parent company of the specific brand. Each brand is independent in terms of the difference in warranty service and their different terms and conditions are mentioned on their own official website. In this case, the supporting organization Techno King is working as a medium to implement the warranty service terms and conditions of the parent brand companies.
The warranty terms and conditions set by the manufacturer are as follows:
- Techno king follows the warranty policies provided by international, domestic, and Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) for each of its products.
- Warranty is a service that is an agreement between the manufacturer or importer and the buyer. Through this agreement, the buyer assumes the responsibility of repairing or replacing the product sold to the manufacturer or importer. Star Tech provides comprehensive support to the buyer to get warranty service for the purchased product and Star Tech acts as an intermediary between the buyer and the manufacturer or importer.
- Most of the products imported by Techno king are covered by warranty within a short period of time and some products are replaced as soon as complaints are received.
- Not all products sold carry a warranty. The warranty is only valid for products for which the original company has declared a warranty period.
- The warranty of a laptop is 1-3 years depending on the brand and model. However, all laptop batteries and adapters have a warranty of only 1 year.
- If a product covered by the warranty is found to be defective after sale, the defect is repaired and, depending on the type of product, it is replaced immediately.
- If a specific model of product is not available for replacement, Techno King may replace it with an equivalent product from another brand currently in stock.
- If a product of a specific model is not repairable and we do not have the same or equivalent product in stock to replace it, a better product of that model may be replaced through depreciation and price adjustment.
- If Techno King does not have a product of a specific model that is not eligible for repair or replacement, the price may be refunded through sales depreciation adjustment.
- Techno King will not be responsible for any software or data that is damaged or lost during the use of the product or during Techno King's service. It is to be noted that in this case, Techno King will not be responsible for data recovery or software reinstallation.
- After taking a specific model of product under warranty, the time for returning the product after completing the service work is not fixed, this time can range from 5-7 days to a maximum of 35-40 days or more; because in most cases, the parts required for repair do not have sufficient buffer stock in the country, so they have to be specially imported, which is time-consuming.
- It is important to inform the general public that most warranty products are not repaired, the parts that are damaged are replaced, and in most cases, they are imported from abroad.
- Computer setup and operating systems that are customized at the time of sale are not covered by the warranty.
- Lifetime warranty basically means providing warranty service for the product until it is considered a common product in the market. If the product is a common product in the market under the 'lifetime' warranty of a product, the buyer will receive warranty service. If a product is considered as EOL (End of Life) in the market, that is, if the product becomes obsolete, it will no longer be covered by the warranty. When a new version of the product comes to the market, it will not receive warranty service along with the old version. It is to be noted that in the case of life time warranty, according to the policy of BCA, the customer or buyer can enjoy this service for a maximum of 2 (two) years.
- Techno King may charge a fee for any service not covered by the warranty, which will be effective subject to the buyer's consent.
- In the case of service warranty, if any parts need to be replaced or added, the buyer will generally collect them at his own risk or, with the buyer's consent, can collect them through Star Tech subject to advance payment.
- Techno King will not be liable for any problems or new problems that arise in the product during or after the warranty period.
- For a warranty claim related to dead pixels on a monitor, a minimum of 3 or more dead pixels must be visible.
- It is mandatory for the buyer to bring the product box with them when claiming the product's warranty.
Cases where the warranty will not be valid or may be subject to conditions
- Any defects that occur due to careless use, such as getting wet, breaking, burning, being hit, deep scratches, etc., will not be covered under the warranty.
- If a product's serial or serial sticker is partially or completely removed, removed, or damaged for any reason, the product will no longer be covered by the warranty.
- If the motherboard, graphics card, and RAM have fungus or rust, or any deep scratches or dents, the motherboard, graphics card, or RAM will not be covered under the warranty.
- In the case of motherboards and processors, if one or more pins are found to be completely or partially broken, bent, or deformed, the product will not be covered under warranty.
- Since Techno King. does not apply any kind of password or security code during the delivery of laptops, desktops or any product, the buyer will have to bear the full responsibility for the BIOS password on the laptop, desktop or any other device. It will not be covered under the warranty.
- If you delete the Apple Mac Book's own operating system, the product will not be covered by the warranty.
- Parts such as printer cartridges, toner, head, roller, drum, element cover, maintenance box, etc. are not covered by the warranty.
- In the case of printer warranty, using ink, ink cartridges or toner cartridges other than those specified by the manufacturer will not be covered by the warranty.
- In the case of certain models of combo keyboard-mouse (keyboard-mouse sold together as a bundle), if either the keyboard or mouse is damaged, the entire combo set (including accessories) must be presented for warranty. Presentation of only the keyboard or mouse separately will not be accepted for warranty.
- Power adapters for printers, scanners, routers, switches, access points, TV cards, etc. and similar products are not covered by the warranty.
- If more than 2 months have passed since the warranty of a specific product was issued, the company will not be responsible for that product.
- If the warranty receipt for a specific product is lost, the product must be accepted upon presentation of the purchase receipt and appropriate proof.
